If you are coming to the Rustic Inn at Jackson Hole to see some wildlife, you may want to take the scenic drive across the border into Idaho and check out Yellowstone Bear World. From the Rustic Inn, the drive to Yellowstone Bear World is around 2 hours of tremendous scenery before you reach the park. Once you have arrived there are plenty of ways to get hands on with some of America’s greatest wildlife treasures. You have an option to take a curator tour for an extra $11.95 where you will see some of the largest animals and have a chance to feed the adult bears. If the adult bears are a little too scary for you, there is also the option to try bottle feeding the baby bear cubs for an extra $35. Bottle feeding the cubs is a very popular attraction at Yellowstone Bear World so you may want to purchase your tickets in advance. Included in the admission price is the petting zoo. The petting zoo is an acre area where you will see many different barn yard animals roaming free and possibly have the opportunity to bottle feed deer fawns or elk calves.
The main attraction at the park is the drive through wildlife park. You will take your own vehicle along the road through the park and see wildlife like you have never seen before. You might catch a glimpse of Bison, Mule Deer, Moose, Rocky Mountain Elk, White-tail Deer, Rocky Mountain Goats and as always, Black Bears, Grizzly Bears and Gray Wolves. New animals are constantly being introduced into the park so you may see animals that were not listed here.
